Michael spent his early years living overseas a part of a family that contracted with the United States Military. Growing up in a culture that maintained the highest levels of fitness and discipline inspired him to pursue a career in the health care industry. He graduated from Corban University in 2012 with a BS in Health Sciences. He later attended Regis University, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Additionally, Michael regularly pursues continuing education; he has completed certifications as an ACSM - Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weight Lifting Coach and in Functional Dry Needling.

Michael began his professional career working in a traditional, insurance-based clinic, although he quickly realized that many times insurance, not clinical reasoning, dictated his treatment plan. He was regularly asked to treat multiple patients at once and saw many patients run out of covered visits before accomplishing their rehab goals. With a passion to offer more to his patients, Michael stepped away from the insurance model and founded Project Prehab Physical Therapy.

At Project Prehab, Michael has the freedom to treat in a more comprehensive manner. He is now able to bridge the gap between traditional post-operative care and sports performance. Michael utilizes aspects of each certification by developing individualized treatment programs to meet the specific needs of his patients.

Michael prides himself in his ability to see any patient for any reason. He offers strength & Conditioning, recovery and rehabilitation services his goal is to keep you active and healthy.

When not treating in the clinic you will find Michael outside enjoying all that Colorado has to offer with his wife and two children. They often get out into the mountains to camp, rock climb and mountain bike.

MOLLY FAVERO Crossfit Lvl 1 Coach

With a background in college basketball, rock climbing, and CrossFit, Molly Favero jumped head first into the personal training business ten years ago.  She began by training teachers in afternoon classes in the school gym as she continued to fall in love with CrossFit.  Fast forward a few years and she started helping groups of people out of her home.  Although CrossFit developed her passion for not only fitness but nutrition as well, she has taken her experience and tailored exercise programs that are appropriate for each person specifically.  Recognizing the needs of each individual and meeting him/her in that space has been her greatest success!  Living an active lifestyle doesn’t come without its bumps and bruises, and often injury can get in the way of the things we enjoy.  She herself has trained through knee reconstructions and she knows first hand that past injuries and growing older can bring nagging pain that tempts us into a sedentary lifestyle.  Molly desires her clients to have strength in movement and live life fully and free of pain.  She believes that all people, at any age, are capable and deserve to do what brings them joy.

Molly is also a mama of two young children.  She was fortunate to rock two healthy pregnancies and maintain training all the way to her due date.  During this time, she realized there was a big gap in pre and post-partum care for active women.  Her doctor’s office offered neither relevant nor current advice on how to stay fit during her pregnancies.  This ignited a spark to educate herself and her friends about how fitness changes while the body changes.  She knows that women can and should remain fit and strong throughout their pregnancies!  She is pursuing a  certification by Girls Gone Strong as a Pre and Postpartum Exercise Coach.

With a wide-variety of passions and pursuits, she is highly dedicated to work with Michael. Together they can provide a continuity of care in-house that pairs rehab and functional strength.
