MICHAEL LAMBERT PT, DPT, CSCS, CERT FDN, USAW-LEVEL 1

Michael spent his early years living overseas a part of a family that contracted with the United States Military. Growing up in a culture that maintained the highest levels of fitness and discipline inspired him to pursue a career in the health care industry. He graduated from Corban University in 2012 with a BS in Health Sciences. He later attended Regis University, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Additionally, Michael regularly pursues continuing education; he has completed certifications as an ACSM - Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Weight Lifting Coach and in Functional Dry Needling.

Michael began his professional career working in a traditional, insurance-based clinic, although he quickly realized that many times insurance, not clinical reasoning, dictated his treatment plan. He was regularly asked to treat multiple patients at once and saw many patients run out of covered visits before accomplishing their rehab goals. With a passion to offer more to his patients, Michael stepped away from the insurance model and founded Project Prehab Physical Therapy.

At Project Prehab, Michael has the freedom to treat in a more comprehensive manner. He is now able to bridge the gap between traditional post-operative care and sports performance. Michael utilizes aspects of each certification by developing individualized treatment programs to meet the specific needs of his patients.

Michael prides himself in his ability to see any patient for any reason. He offers strength & Conditioning, recovery and rehabilitation services his goal is to keep you active and healthy.

When not treating in the clinic you will find Michael outside enjoying all that Colorado has to offer with his wife and two children. They often get out into the mountains to camp, rock climb and mountain bike.
